K-POPPY

A mythical nine-tailed fox, Korea’s robust hagwon system, and Seoul’s flashy nightlife imprinted upon an American’s musical imagination. Thanks to bassist Hoonch, his musical mentor during the entirety of this Korean experiment, Henry worked with Seoul’s top session players (Jukjae, Seungho Jim) who provided the foundational clout behind his K-pop inspired songs, sound, and music videos. According to UnitedKpop, Henry became “the first westerner to have [his/her] music distributed by one of the music giants in the Kpop market.”
